I attended a fashion fundraiser at Spaces for the Eating Disorder Coalition which was awesome and we bumped into our friends Holly and LylaWhooo, where do I start, February always seems to fly by and although I have had good intentions to blog with updates.....the days seem to slip by me. We have had a full month for sure so let me see if I can recap a little. A milestone for Grant was that he started his Mother's Day Out program 2 days a week and loves it! It was difficult for both him and me at first after being together for 15mo everyday but we are both adjusting. Grant loves the interaction with the children and his teachers comment how he really likes to go around and try to hold every one's hand....I thought that was super sweet...he is loves people! I on the other hand have been working hard on my business. For those of you who know me well you know it has been something I have been working on for a while now and for those who may not know..... I am getting ready to launch my Pediatric Nutrition Private Practice called: Healthy Beginnings Pediatric Nutrition of Middle TN. So when Grant is at Mother's Day Out I am busy, busy!! Stay tuned for more updates on Healthy Beginnings and the upcoming launch! Matthew has been putting alot of hours in at the firm and we have really been meeting ourselves coming and going. February has been filled with milestones, birthdays, two rounds of some kind of bug that has run through the entire family (yuck) we really should buy stock in "Boogie" wipes, Valentines, business planning, a UAB Pediatric conference in Birmingham that I attended, a few mall walks on cold days, and loving watch Grant grow. He seems to change all the time and everyday is something new. Here are a few current stats about Grant:
He is my little Curious George.....he finds EVERYTHING to get into and prefers phones, remote controls, cords, computers, outlets, pots and pans, and oh did I mention the stove!
He loves Music and has started to really dance and sing along to tunes
His smile is infectious!
He has his Daddy's palate....he loves carbs: waffles, french toast, grilled cheese, french fries, pretzels, cheddar bunnies, any kind of cracker, and his power punch pancake! But he also loves fruit and some veggies: blueberries, strawberries, honeydew, cantaloupe, apples, grapes, oranges, green peas, corn, carrots. He is not really into meat right now so we are working on that
He is cutting 4 teeth right now
His hair curls at night after his bath but is straight when he wakes up in the morning
He is starting to answer us when we ask a question and is really starting to talk more "Mama", "Da Da", Me Me", Gan Da Da", "Ball", "ok", "Baby","up" ect.......
He is still in the 5th percentile, and weighs a whopping 22 lbs!
He takes 1-2 naps a day about 1 1/2 -2 hours long
He loves orange juice in the morning
He is a creature of habit
He loves to give lots of kisses and hugs

Oh I could go on and on.
