May Memories!

Playin outside in his firetruck....we spend alot of time outside
This picture cracked me up b/c it looked like Grant was literally driving up our driveway

My sweet Mom and Dad came to see us and our visit with them was such a treat!

This is how I found Grant one day in the hallway, he was in a basket, with the phone and a piece of paper busy at work, I can just see him as some kind of business man one day:)

Last day of playschool picnic

Ok this was such a funny night, we went to Peter's Sushi(our favorite in town) with my sister-in-law and we were a little worried that Grant would not fair well at this type of place but took the risk. We were so wrong.....he had a blast, he even gave the server his order and mastered the chop sticks! ( Don't worry I really didn't feed him sushi, I had packed his dinner)

Lovin the chop stick, he ate his whole grilled cheese with the sticks!

Our sweet babysitter graduated from Lipscomb and we went to her celebration party!

Grant and his buddy Drew playing after lunch one day, they had a great time together

Girls dinner at Taco Mamacitaa.....YUM!
We helped with the governors debate at Lipscomb and although one candidate was missing (Ron Ramsey) it was still really good to hear what they had to say

Us with Bill Haslam, he was so nice!

Grant playin in my house shoes
Pick-a-boo

Grant at the park with some of his buddies, we go to the park very often
1000 year flood

Opryland hotel underwater, I can't count how many celebrations and memories we have had here so this was so, so sad to see!

Downtown Nashville, God Bless this city!

This month is about to be over and that is hard to believe. It feels like the month just started and it started with bang around here. From my last post I posted right when the 1000 year flood hit Nashville and at the time I don't think anyone really realized how hard Nashville had been hit by water! The pictures from this wonderful city were heartbreaking and so many lost so much. We were one of the lucky families that did not have damage but many were hit very hard. However, it is called the volunteer state for a good reason because Nashville is recovering everyday and the city is special as ever! As for this household, we have just taken little pictures here and there of Grant to capture this moment and stage that he is in. We are having so much fun with him and he cracks us up all the time with his little jokes he tells (he doesn't make any sense but he thinks it is so funny when he babbles along and then laughs at himself which intern makes us laugh....so good for the soul and we are so glad he has a sense of good humor!) He is busy, busy everyday, I don't stop running after him, every minute is such a joy! Summer is here and we are so glad. We hope everyone is having a great start to the summer and I will leave you with some updated pictures that capture the past month. Happy Memorial weekend to all!
