Becky, None, Grant and their friend, we had so much fun visiting.

Let me just say that I LOVE SPRING...I think it is my fav next to the Fall. I just love all the freshness, greenery, flowers budding, the feeling of newness, little birds chirping telling us, "Good Morning", the sun, the smell of fresh mowed grass, fresh fruit starting to come in the stores, planting, gardening, and EASTER...my favorite holiday. I have always loved Easter not only for all the chocolate covered eggs, jelly beans, cute baskets, bunnies, chickies, ect...but for the complete meaning behinde why we celebrate and acknowledge Easter. The life that has been given to us through the shed of Jesus Christ's blood is without a doubt the most mind boggling sacrifice to me. It is difficult to really even wrap my mind around the gift of life and the blessing of grace that covers us all like a daily blanket. The reality that Jesus died for us and has risen for us so that we could have life is completely amazing to me. This year was ecspecially deep for me however since Grant has entered into our lives. I love my son more than life itself and I can't help but think about Mary as she had to watch her son Jesus die and suffer on the cross. The pain she must have felt and the helpless, soulfully sad feeling ....I just can't imagin.... then...the feeling she must have felt once she realized her sun had risen..... what a day the Lord had made!!! I rejoice in this day and am so glad that we have a heavenly Father that loves us all so much...HE HAS RISEN!!!!

Last week was a fun week around here. Some of the highlights were... a visit from our dear friends that live in LaGrange, GA, the Major family. Becky , None and her friend came to see us and baby Grant. We had so much fun spending time together!!Thank you Becky for our sweet gifts and coming to see us. We also enjoyed a play day at our house with some of Grant's little friends. The kiddos seemed to enjoy their time together and the mommies enjoyed good mommy conversation. On Thurday evening Matthew came home a little early and we took Grant to see the Easter bunny at GreenHills, he did great and loved it. We had such a sweet family time that night and made a fun little memory. On Friday my parents decided to come see us for Easter!! We had so much fun the entire weekend. On Saturday the boys went Turkey hunting, it was Matthew's first expereince at the sport and I think he really enjoyed it. Mom and I had a fun girly day with Grant. We took Grant to the Factory in Franklin to stroll a bit and then we went to a birthday party for Blair who turned 2..Happy Birthday Blair!! We cooked that night since the baby was a little tired and the boys had been up for those turkeys since 4am..yuck! On Sunday we went to church and lunch at Mere Bulles and enjoyed watching Grant look through his 1st Easter baskets from Mommy and Daddy and Meme and Grandaddy. Thank you Mom and Dad for Grant's great Easter basket, he loved it. A thank you also to Matthew's family for sending us a fun Easter box for Grant!!! We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed this wonderful day of life! Here are some pictures to recapture the past week and weekend.
